We are proud to begin formally providing our clients with design insights through energy, water, and carbon-emission analysis conducted by a team of professionals headed by an in-house energy engineer to help owners, architects and engineers optimize economic and environmental performance of buildings, systems and sites. This group helps inform our design decisions, ensuring that a facility designed by GSBS is superior in every way, truly setting the benchmark for sustainable design excellence in the Intermountain West.

Energy Engineering
A broad field of engineering dealing with energy efficiency, energy services, facility management, plant engineering, environmental compliance and alternative energy technologies, Energy Engineering is most often used to identify the major steps to meet energy efficiency and carbon reduction targets. In our changing world, new buildings must minimize or eliminate carbon footprints altogether, while more and more existing buildings are being retrofitted to meet these goals.
